Design thinking, innovation, relaunching, disruption….these matter for students, teachers, and leaders. An engaging, interactive design thinking mindset process accelerates participants to think outside the box, challenge their misconceptions, and create goals to move the needle. Your group defines this needle, I scaffold their thinking so that it moves.
Each of us has the potential to be lifelong learners, but what does this look like? How do we demonstrate these skills so students practice the soft skills that will propel their learning? Is resilience necessary to support our students? How can leaders, teachers, and parents adapt their thinking to ensure that children are set up to be lifelong learners?
Empathy is a human quality that must be nurtured, challenged, and shared. When teachers, students, and leaders embrace empathy we strengthen our learning communities. Each stakeholder deserves an opportunity to thrive and empathy provides the platform where individuals can thrive. I will share how empathy should be a global shift through intentional instruction and classroom design so that each member of a classroom cultivates an empathetic learning environment.
